AHA Course Description:
cprHeartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

In the event of a witnessed sudden cardiac arrest, each minute that passes decreases the chance a victim has for survival. With proficient bystander CPR a victim’s chance of survival increases dramatically. It is Medina Township Fire Department’s goal to train as many willing residents as possible, to increase the chance of survival of a cardiac arrest within Medina Township.
The classes are limited to 12 participants and the cost of the class for Medina Township resident is $5* to cover the cost of the CPR card. Cost for a non-resident is $30*. Payment is due the day of the class.

Classes will be held at Medina Township Fire Station #1 located at 3803 Huffman Rd. If you are interested please contact Julie during the hours of 10am-3pm Monday-Friday at (330) 723-6900 to register. Or email mtfd.cpr@gmail.com for more information.
